About this template
An underwriter needs the same six numbers on every file. This form collects them in order: the amount and term requested, gross annual income, other monthly income, the housing payment, and what is already going out on other borrowing.
Asking for outgoings alongside income is what makes the application assessable rather than merely complete. Two applicants on identical salaries are not the same risk once rent and existing repayments are on the page, and the difference shows before anyone opens a statement.
Set the terms you actually lend over, and adjust the document uploads to the evidence your process accepts. Regulated lenders should add the disclosures and affordability wording their regime requires before publishing.
