About this template
Grant panels can only compare applications that have the same shape, and free form proposals guarantee they do not. This form fixes the shape around the four things a panel actually scores: the need and its evidence, who benefits, what will change, and whether the budget is credible.
The outcomes field asks for one per line together with how it will be measured, which is the question most applications avoid. An organisation that can name its measures usually has a plan, and one that writes about raising awareness usually does not, and the panel can see the difference immediately.
Asking about other funders, confirmed or applied for, prevents the common surprise of fully funding something that was already covered. Make the accounts upload required if your threshold demands it, and set a closing date on the form so late applications never enter the pile.
